Happy Easter!

Don't expect easter eggs here, I don't have any :D that's it...we're having a rainy/snowy easter which I hat, hoping for real spring coming soon... though some days ago I could run outside without a coat! In the snow...
  Actually, what I wanted to share in that post is something more serious thing. I was inspired again... I was at a math competition this week (I spend half of my life here yaknow) and I overheard a parent telling to their daughter that they would be more happy if she lost weight than if she won that competition. I was horrified. I mean, I know that society's standards are fucked up, but seriously, this much? Isn't being smart more important than being skinny? Winning that thing is a big thing and helps finding a good school etc. Being skinny won't help in life. And being skinny isn't equals being beautiful. I wanted to go up there and tell all these things to that parent, but well, I would just get yelled at. Poor kids there.
  We always say that we should blame society and the media for the reaching amount of anorexia and other EDs but I don't think even if we could make them stop idolizing skin and bones, the problem wouldn't be solved, as long as girls get this from home. And other things. I wonder how the next generation will be... but our generation is the same with hating ones in schools because they're fat. People's look don't define who they are. Actually, that's why I love the internet so much. It doesn't matter how you look like or where are you from there, just what you say.
  I hope that you, dear blog readers won't be like this. Accept others as much as you should accept yourself. Looks matter less than what is on the inside.

Celebration (and stuff)

...because of two things: first: the blog has reached 500 pageviews last night. Second: in this month, I had more pageviews than any month before. So many thanks dearies, I love you all!!
 So here there's something about me. Just because as you might have guessed it, I'm not like the usual. My biggest problem is not how my makeup looks like but how can I download my new favourite band's music is they're not even on YouTube. That I want to talk to my friends who live on an other country, maybe even on an other continent, and not to go out partying. That my game-program that I write doesn't want to run and the math problems I'm trying to solve are just crazy. Stuff like that. But you know what? I am myself and I'd rather stay this than to become the average. I know I am crazy. Sometimes I wonder how my life would be if I would be "normal". But actually, I don't regret turning to this way.
 Since that is my blog, that is one way of expressing myself. I share little pieces besides my photos... I wish I could share everything somewhere but it won't happen. Still, this is an open place...
 I am nameless and faceless here. I mean, you know my name but seriously, does it mean something? My URL more likely. And about my face... I don't think it's interesting. If someone wanders here, they don't search for...faces. More for my thoughts. They might be weird, but hey, that's me. At least a little piece... I thought about sharing more of the sarcastic me...
  So that's it. A piece of weirdness to you. From me.

Who would have ever thought...

...how important our thumbs are... haha just thought I'd share this little piece. I have bruised my right thumb this week, it's nothing serious but since I have found out how important is it because I have to do lots of things with my left hand. Since I have never had my arm broken or accidents like this (luckily!) this is new for me. But well, at least now I know that :D
Anyways, life just goes on. Nothing but longing for the easter break, or studying for school, getting ready for competitions...my life is rather boring sometimes, you know? I wish it was real spring already, everything'd be better...

International Pi Day

Happy International Pi Day to everyone!! :D
Haha just had to, sorry XD since I'm in a Math class, we celebrate it :D and I've seen it plenty of times at other places too, so... just had to :D
I looked through the photos on an old phone I used for photographing for a while (two years ago, I reckon) and well, I was terrified how bad pics I have taken (they looked good on that screen, I swear!) but from the more than 400 I've found twelve that are good, so I thought I'll share these.
All of them are pics of different flowers, which I need now since it's raining like hell outside and I miss spring really much.

A tulip being edited to black and white :) it's originally yellow, but I like it more this way :D

And my favourite from all tulips-the "black" aka dark purple one. I just love it ♥

The same cute little flowers in different colours and from different angles :) the last picture is the one I like the most, although the first with these modified colours and contrast is nice too :)

Don't know why, I just love this tiny flower :)

Versions of this one were and will be here a lot, I hope you don't mind cause it's just amazing :)

Realized that all the pics of this one look the same...I'll change it this year! Still beautiful by the way :D

Little one too, but these are easy to take rather good pics of :) (I should cut some parts of tat photo down, don't you think?)

Aaaaand the last one, which I was surprised about because of the colours and how good is the focus...sometimes devices do a lot better than what we expect!!

The editing software I use now is Picasa which I really recommend for hobby-photographing and editing, it's really easy to use and has lots of good functions :)

Hello everyone :)
Hope you had a good day :D I'm reading articles about photographing now and thinking: 'oh my god my pics suck' XD aaaaand: I didn't bring any new pics, because, well, laziness? :D but on my instagram (link in the posts below) you can always find things... :) I have found even more old pictures from the spring maybe 2 years ago so I know what the next post will be about :)
Though it's spring, it might be snowing on the weekend which I'm sad about...I hope we'll get spring soon, cause I'm pretty much ready for it! And for easter and the spring break here around easter, etc. But I have school until...actually, I don't mind. Some of the subjects I really enjoy (and these classes get cancelled mostly), like Maths and Chemistry, and IT...I'm a nerd :D but since I want to work in these things... or be a professional photographer, or a writer... :)
That's all for now, I'm getting back to writing my book ;)
But to the end of the post, here there is a motivational smiley cake for you ;) (I hope that the original owner of the cake won't mind since I took the pic... :D)

Gastronomic experiment

Hello dear blog readers :)
I'd like to share with you some food and an experiment next to it. And that'd be my lunch :D
I got some leftover chicken breasts from yesterday. This, itself wouldn't be some big things, but I hate cold and/or reheated meat. Guess I'm not the only one :) but I was too hungry to just leave it so I decided to put some spices on it. I only found ones that are used for lamb meat, but it was alright :) so I put some-okay loads of-spices on it and put it in the microwave. And to the biggest surprise of mine-it's really tasty! I've put some lettuce next to it and tadaa! The perfect lunch :) (I even wanted to take a pic but my phone didn't like the idea-just imagine it :D)
And what's the lesson learned from this? Some spice can make everything more interesting ;)
So yeah, I'm happy now, enjoying that it's sunny here. And getting ready for the Math competition tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Spring

SPRING IS HERE!*happy dance around the room* sorry, but I just love it too much. I can't be the only one!! Spring is in the air, and I could even take photos! (not of the spring in the air, but you get it). Now the problem is with uploading them to my laptop so the ones I rought are from last year. I hope you don't mind, the flowers still look the same. And if you're really curious how the flowers look like now-on my instagram you can find some pics :) (I don't know if it's visible but the pics are in a higher resolution now. It just only matters that it takes more time to upload them. This has to be fixed that I can't resize them)

These are the first flowers to appear in the spring-especially the yellow ones. It's hard to take a good pic of them, so these aren't good either, but they're too cute to be left hidden :)

These are beautiful, and their smell is divine :) I hope these will also appear soon :)

 

And this well, on of my favs. These flowers are on the squares in the city, so these I can always photograph, but this one is in the garden :) (for this, I don't have to climb upon fences, ehehehe)

It's obivious that I love flowers, isn't it? :) I'm a girl afterall, an these are really beautiful :) do you agree? :)
